1Why
Initiative
Value
Or Purpose

Define the Value for various persona’s
Virtual Machine (VM)

–        Experiment without fear of messing up.
–        Easy to throw away and buildup again
–        Collaborate in identical environments (avoid “it works” for one but not for another)
–        Set up various environments on a single Physical Machine
–        Learn-by-doing (LbD) to understand VM (& Intro to next level the Docker container.)
Value definition from persona perspective.

Robot FrameWork
(Valued by VC Test)
2How
It Works
Backbone
Of Process

Describe Process Steps that lead to Valued Outcome
How to set up a VM
–        Select Virtual Machine Solution <Virtual Box>
–        Download Virtual Box
–        Linux Environment
o    Download Ubuntu
–        Set-Up VirtualBox
o    Install Ubuntu
o    Settings Ubuntu
o    Start Ubuntu
–        Set-Up Ubuntu
Install python
Explore the minimal steps needed to realize valuable outcome
3What
Is Needed
Solution
Of Problem

Map the User Stories on the Process flow
What is needed to execute the steps of the Backbone and to demo a working version of an VM?

As a Value Camp Engineer, I need to:
–        Download <Virtual Box> to setup a VM
–        Download <Ubuntu) to setup a Linux environment.
–        Setup Virtual Box to get a working VM
–        Setup Ubuntu to get a working VM

–        Run the VM, play with the VM, mess up the VM, throw VM away. (repeat)
Create a different VM on my machine for testing purposes
Discover the Next Most Valuable MVP step in the USM
4Now
Focus
MVP
Or Most Valuable
Step
Pick up the best US to start with, usually it is best to start with the 1st US from the process flow.

–        Find someone who can show you an working example (demo)
Find an appropriate YouTube example (not always easy to find good examples)
Experiment to learn. Look for an example you can start with.
